Jarvis Insulation also offers the installation of fiberglass wall & ceiling insulation. Fiberglass batt insulation friction fits to framed walls providing an air barrier.
Blanket wrap can be applied directly to concrete walls in unfinished areas of your home.
Fiberglass batts are also used to insulate cathedral or sloped ceilings where loose-fill blown fiberglass can not be installed.
Batt insulation can also be used on interior walls to provide soundproofing qualities.
For existing walls, loose-fill blown fiberglass can be blown into the walls in order to increase the insulation value in existing walls.
In the case of existing buildings, we can install insulation into the walls where there is little or no insulation through a process of blown fiberglass cavity fill. Cavity insulation can be applied to most houses with cavity walls and generally involves drilling a series of holes in the outer leaf of the outside wall and blowing the insulation into the cavity. The holes can be sealed again leaving little or no trace of the work.
